Top 9 of 2020 — it was a crazy year, but it was filled with lots of beauty. I’m glad we got to start off the year in the US with my family. We didn’t know then how precious time together would be and how long we’d have to wait to see each other again. I’m glad I got to craft quite a bit during the spring lockdown and take some solitary hikes in the region when nothing else was allowed. And I am so thankful that the Corona situation allowed us to travel in August. Our trip to Italy was the highlight of the year. In 2020 we also faced sickness, surgery, loneliness, boredom, stress, and loss. Life is not all as colorful and lovely as it looks on Insta. But still I give thanks for this life we are living, even in 2020. We rang in the new year with dear friends, feeling hopeful for all that 2021 will bring. #topnine2020 #goodbye2020 #hello2021 #happynewyear
On this gray December morning... a little life and a little light. Signs of #hope. #amaryllis #herrnhuterstern #dezember #advent
